Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"One of the best wantanmee in BSD, very generous portion and yummy char siew. Must try."
"It was easy to get a table on a Saturday at approximately 11am, maybe due to the long weekend. Service is quick, food & drinks arrived within 5-10 minutes. Surprisingly good tasting food. Ordered the Nyonya Laksa, Char Kuey Teow & Pan Mee, all from different stalls. All dishes are very well made with generous portions, highly recommended."
"Came here for the fish head noodles and must say that this is one of my top 3 in KL area. Soup is milky and hearty. Perfect for rainy days."
"大三元 steamed fish and steamed dishes here is affordable and pretty good. They are former restaurateurs at bukit beruntung called 大三元 as well previously. Pretty much a BSD local dinner spot institution already the past few years or so. Environment can be better due to the cooking smoke or smoke from the satay stall and 大炒 inside. Suggest taking the outdoor table at the alleyway if it’s not raining for a better seating and air circulation."
"Lots of variety at this stall in this restaurant. Their roasted pork tofu is so yummy with lots of white rice and scrumptious sauce. The other dish is Thai basil minced pork rice. Their coffee has improved lately but I ordered sugar cane in bottle today."
"I tried the Char Koay Teow and Penang White Curry — both were absolutely delicious! My favourite was definitely the Char Koay Teow; it’s one of the best I’ve had so far in KL."
"Very decent chinese food. Definitely worth the visit. Price reflects well on the dishes. Will have abit of waiting time if you come around 6:30pm."
"I can say their drink (coffee, milo, teh) is the best in BSD. My favourite drink is NESLO ICE. The staffs here are friendly and caring as I always see them changing the chair with back-support for old folks. All these details are priceless. I also enjoy their waffles. This is the least oily waffle I had tried. Less guilt while enjoying the tasty dessert"
